Digital Dogs Content and Media opens its doors

On April 01/2020 - my latest venture Digital Dogs Content and Media (P) Ltd will begin operations. Formally.

It's a BIG day. I'm sorry. Let me rephrase that, with due respect to the importance of the day.

It's a BIG, FUCKING DAY. MY BIGGEST, BY FAR.

The last time I co-founded a venture (the others in between were ones whose Boards I joined as co-founder) it was bang in the middle of the economic crisis. Remember that circus across the world? Where people lost their shirts, companies went belly up and countries were crying for relief? Yeah, that one.

This time, I am setting up this venture in the middle of the corona virus massacre across the world. As of writing this, there are over 823,000 confirmed cases across the world with over 40,500 people dead. Fuck.

But I have never believed in shutting down engines and cruising on hope and prayers during a crisis. Call me an asshole or call me a fool. Or, don't call me anything before you read what's below:

There are TWO ways to deal with adversities:

1) You roll in doom and misery, soaking in the vapours of depression and defeat. You shut down your life and your living. You cower in a corner of your mind, hoping and praying that the storm will not steal your tomorrow from you.

Or.

2) You take a deep breath and stand up. You turn in the direction of the storm. With your chin out and your shins ready. You may take some blows but you sure as hell are going to give more than you get. You don't stop hoping and praying, if you want to. But you sure as hell don't do just that. I don't know what will happen. But guess what, neither do you.

But let me tell you something. You may win. Or you may not. But you know what - YOU LOSE 100% OF THE SHOTS YOU DON'T TAKE.

I am taking that shot. And so are the bunch of crazy bastards who have joined me. We don't know what will happen.
